Cumberland Valley SHRM is dedicated to connecting HR professionals within South Central PA and Western Maryland to promote knowledge, networking, and service. The Chapter was established in 1974.

Our mission is to provide networking, advisory, and training opportunities for HR and Business professionals within our Cumberland Valley footprint.  CVSHRM members can take advantage of monthly meetings, educational seminars and conferences, and networking events to enhance their professional development and human resources acumen. There is nothing more valuable than learning from other HR professionals and being able to share best practices, experiences, and lean on one another. 

As both a SHRM recertification provider and an HRCI approved provider, we offer meetings, conferences, and events with professional development and recertification credits to assist our SHRM and HRCI certified professionals.

Cumberland Valley SHRM is now a Dual Membership Release (DMR) chapter of SHRM National. What does this mean? Moving forward, members will renew their CVSHRM membership seamlessly when renewing your SHRM National Member. Not a SHRM National member? We encourage you to consider joining to enhance your SHRM benefits even further. However, if you choose not to join SHRM National you will be able to participate in events as a guest (fees will apply). 

As a DMR Member you will have the benefit of:

Annual Membership Fee $100.00 (Includes all Monthly Meetings)
